Jane Iredale Pure & Simple Makeup Kit-Medium

I received this package for free from Influenster and I am beyond grateful! I loved the powders so much I'm actually considering of getting my own full size!

The shade golden glow matched me better but it was still a shade lighter than me, but with a bronzer, it turned out okay so I may need a shade darker I'm more of a darker medium but not full tan. To compare to a mac shade I'd be NC35-40 around there.

They were sheer to medium coverage when applied twice with a  kabuki-like brush. If you use a normal powder brush it will for sure be very light.

I used my primer first, concealer under eyes and some spots and then applied the powder. Just like how you would with a normal powder foundation.

The blush is a nude rose blush I really enjoyed the color!

Eyeshadows were soft and blendable the colors were natural and had a satin finish.

The lip and cheek stain I would just use as a lip stain. It is very light but definitely stains and I would've opted for a bit more berry color but it works great as a spring color it's more of a coral pink hue.
Overall really impressed with this kit, it's an all in one kit that you can use but to bring for traveling maybe they should slim down the case a bit so it's not so boxy.

Of course, since it has SPF 20 I would not recommend this product to take pictures with I tried it with flash photography and it had a white cast so this is just for day time use!

The products are all very good and exceeded my expectations just really want the packaging to be more slim lol

(no flash daylight)

(with flash on digital camera and in daylight)

(with flash on iphone camera which I think is what it will look like if it's on a night out flash. so DON'T use it when using flash photography)
